Anybody see Bill Maher on Leno last night?

he was SCATHING in re: the chimp

Leno didn't have a clue; was trying to play devil's advocate, but what Maher said didn't really leave him a chance to defend him

I didn't see any threads on this last night, so if there were, sorry

the audience was stunned/angry at times at what he said, but laughed pretty hard at some of the other stuff he said

I taped it, and will Xscribe some, if anybody's interested, but it was absolutely DEVASTATING

there were MUCH nastier things said, but I can't remebering them without going back to the tape

by using Gore's playbook... Which, according to Maher is "Say nothing, let Bush do all the talking and people will figure out how dumb he is. When they go into the voting booth they'll say to themselves, "That guy's still eating paste." and vote for Kerry."

They seemed to love what he said about Bush.

but the boos came when he prefaced a remark by saying "Everyone boos when I say this but ..." So the crowd booed, but it switched over to cheers before his next remark.
