is this Bushism for real?????
A friend sent this to me...

NEWSWEEK reports that President Bush, appearing before a right-to-life
rally in Tampa, Florida on June 17, stated: "We must always remember thatall human beings begin life as a feces. A feces is a living being in the eyes of God, who has endowed that feces with all of the rights and God-given blessings of any other human being." The audience listened in disbelief as the President repeated his error at least a dozen times, before realizing that he had used the word 'feces" when he meant to say "fetus."

2. Certainly sounds like something he'd say
very Freudian, don't you think. Sort of expresses his real opinion of anyone who isn't him.

8. OK, that's funny as hell!
Maybe the right-to-lifers will start putting up billboards and ads urging the consumption of Kaopectate and large quantities of cheese. "Metamucil is murder," they'll scream, picketing Walgreens.

9. You know what the saddest part is?
We all honestly believed that it could be real. If we heard something like this about Clinton, we'd laugh and think it was a silly joke or an article in The Onion. These days, we need to have it debunked by Snopes in order to be sure. That says a lot about our current pResident! :eyes:

11. You are right..
...it is pretty pathetic to think that one of the most powerful men in the world could be so stone-brained as to make such a faux pas.

12. Oh I wouldn't believe it for a second
if someone said Clinton or Kerry or Edwards or Gore said it. They wouldn't make such a stupid mistake.

But bush? Yeah, I'd believe it. Sounds right up his alley.

15. Exactly!
If someone said Clinton, Kerry, Edwards or Gore said it, we would automatically think it was a lie or a joke ... but when it comes to Bush*, we automatically think it's true, LOL!
