producing the guilt trips.. A tool used by many people including the Pubs and Fundies.

15. One of the forms of shame used on DU is when someone has already

proclaimed their loyalty to Kerry, and offers an item where they are hesitant, or don't agree, they get the standard "Then you'll vote for Bush", or some variation thereof.

Shame exists in all parts of our society, and it's not productive, including in the Dem party.

If we really want a different country, we'll also watch our *own* use of shame and guilt.
