A horror story from Africa.

I read this in today's news - a statement from UNICEF about child
soldiers in Uganda:

I didn't know much about the background - how all this started, so
I did a search and come up with some really sad facts - this from
Amnesty:

This was first published in 1999, and it had been going on for twelve
years already.

The world is failing its children - even those who are rehabilitated
will surely always carry a psychological scar.

Some things just leave you feeling numb.
