Don't let your govt get away this time (tinfoil)
SUV bomb in nashville, pipe bomb in atlanta and NYC subway...

not to forget the news story rapidly buried by the US media about a nut in texas with HUGE stockpiles of chemical agents. seems to me your SS is testing waters... maybe they are preparing for a major attack which can be blamed on arabs prior to the elections. americans need to be vigilant and keep a record of these incidents... these stories will be quickly thrown down the memory hole by the press....
don't let your govt get away this time!

2. What's your theory?
Putting on the DU tinfoil hat, I agree that this could be related...but how do you think they connect? I'm feeling too brain dead right now and sleep deprived to go with this one, but would love to hear your idea....

5. my theory is simply this:
the US govt is actively plotting to disrupt the democratic process in november by imposing a nationwide emergency after a massive attack by "al-qaeda." such isolated incidents- small in scale and therefore easily forgetten- are sorties by (possibly) US covert agencies to
a) evaluate law enforcement and emergency response to terror attacks, in an attempt to find weak spots
b) hoodwink local and national law enforcement into preparing for conventional, small scale terror attacks; ignoring signs/clues that may point to an impending large scale attack on american people

i know i sound C-R-A-Z-Y. but hey its a theory...
u asked for it!

8. Not crazy at all...
Assuming for a moment, that the neo-cons want to keep power, realizing that they will lose both the popular vote and electoral vote if done today, and they were to come up with a way to "guarantee a win", the smartest way to go about it would be the way many of us have suspected and it would be in ways we have already seen with electronic voting fraud possibilities w/ no print out, further disenfranchisement of voters in states like Florida with "Voter Scrub Lists" and the biggie ofcourse - a large terror attack timed (conveniently) before the elections. Any military planner knows that you "test" things first before implementing a large scale plan, so the idea of "sorties" to test local law enforcement and emergency responses for weak spots and preparedness is smart if your "trying" to implement something. The question isn't whether, but when its coming and that is pretty obvious. The bigger question is - whose really planning it and executing it. Sometimes, what seems like the "perpetrator" is not the person behind the curtain....Sadly, I like many, don't trust our government anymore. And who can blame us? I mean, OBL was a funded by the US and CIA for a long time, Saddam was funded by us for a long time and supplied with weapons, so how does one know what is being funded and implemented behind the scenes?

It's not crazy, its scary....I'm more afraid of my gov't than I am of Terrorist attacks....

3. said it before, and I'll say it again . . .
BushCo will do anything -- ANYTHING -- to remain in office . . . they have no intention of allowing Kerry to win, and since they control EVERYTHING (federal funds, the media, the Congress, the courts, foreign policy, economic and monetary policy, the voting machines, etc.), their chances of meeting that goal are very, very good, imo . . .

every day that the other shoe doesn't drop, I breathe a sigh of relief . . . and then I remember that there's always tomorrow . . . and tomorrow . . . and tomorrow . . .

4. add this story to your list:
Remember this from last month???

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5209103/

WASHINGTON - A Columbus, Ohio, man has been charged with participating in an al-Qaida plot to blow up a shopping mall in Ohio, Attorney General John Ashcroft announced Monday.

“The American heartland was targeted for death and destruction by an al-Qaida cell,” Ashcroft said at a news conference announcing the four-count indictment against the man, Nuradin Abdi, 32, a cellular telephone business owner in Columbus who is originally from Somalia.

The indictment, which was handed up by a criminal grand jury in Columbus on Thursday and was unsealed Monday, charges that Abdi conspired with admitted al-Qaida member Iyman Faris and others to detonate a bomb at a shopping mall in the Columbus area after he obtained military-style training in Ethiopia.

FBI officials in Columbus said there were no indications which mall was supposed to have been targeted.

6. I'm leaning toward
power outages in highly Democrat areas to disrupt the voting. Without power, the Diebold machines won't work and neither will the paper ballot vote counters, and without power, the polls will have no lights to see anything with.

7. power outages didn't even occur to me. makes sense
Of course when it comes to BBV, I just wish some hacking genius would make ALL the votes null and void. That way everyone, regardless of their political party, would agree that paperless ballots are insane.
