Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 06:02 AM by dems4america
Heck, just look at what he has done the past 4 years. I wouldn't be suprised if he gets booed off the stage!

22. If he were decent, he would decline to speak.
He should not have been asked to speak in my opinion. I put him in the same class as Zell Miller.

8. Oh yes, I am on a grand plan
Just look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:ChrisDJackson

And look at the site that I created 3 years ago: http://www.algoresupportcenter.com/

Yea, you are right, it is all a grand scheme!

Give me a break dude. You need to chill and quit watching Conspiracy Theory every night.

14. Please answer this. Why are you posting a thread such as this?
It only makes DU look like a bunch of loony tunes. Of course no one will boo a Democratic Senator at a Democratic Convention.

17. If I was a delegate
I would walk out when Lieberman (D-Fox News) spoke.

Same as Manino.

Oh, Joe from Conn. is on, Sean Hannity's buddy, time to take a piss.

The Mayor of Boston, who said Kerry's staff was inept, time to take a shit.

Why would any politician or political suporter want to undermine the party with such a spiteful unpolitical gesture?

But like I said, look at how he has stood by Shrub the past 4 years. Also, remember in 88 when they booed Clinton for speaking too long. That was not classy.

11. Joe Lieberman is a help on a lot of domestic issues
On issues of foreign policy, I have zero use for him. The one Democrat who unequivocally deserves to be booed is Zell Miller.

13. I agree with your assessment
His foreign policy is too Repug-like, but he's done a lot on the domestic front.

I'm not crazy about him, but I don't dislike him. He is a valuable asset to the party, and he does a lot to support Democrats, unlike Zell Miller.

16. Both Lieberman and Manino
Lieberman shouldn't be allowed on stage, they suck so bad.

He should be grateful to Zell Miller, otherwise Joe Lieberman (D-Fox News) would be known as the biggest asshole Democrat in the Senate.

19. You can't even spell Menino, much less explain why he should be booed
because he's trying to run his city and not be held hostage by a couple unions?

Liebermans pretty douchey alot of the time, but he shouldn't be booed. Menino should be cheered.

35. Get it right
I never said booed. I said not allowed on stage.

How about Mumbles Menino when he publicly criticized John Kerry's staff because Kerry refused to cross the Police picket line for the Mayors' Conference?

Maybe Kerry should have risked his national fire, police, and AFL-CIO support so as to not hurt Mumbles' feelings.

If Menino was a loyal Democrat with a half of a brain, he could have explained the obvious. The big cities in this country are going broke by being mandated by the Bush Administration to provide security and educational services that are being unfunded by the federal government.

Instead, Mr. Moron feeds a hostile headline about our Democratic Nominee to Rupert Murdoch's Boston Herald.

F**k Menino

Sorry for the previous Type-O, that must mean you have more info on this subject than I have.

Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 07:16 AM by Bombtrack
Lieberman, but asskiss the person who picked him for vice-presidential candidate.

Gore and Lieberman are both pretty douchey democrats most of the time.

But neither being booed at our convention will accomplish anything good.

23. Gore is a douchey democrat? You are the one worshiping Howard Stern
and other people who have done nothing for the US. Gore on the other hand gave 25 years of his life to the US and continues to be the leader of the party.

Don't get me wrong, I like Maher, Franken, and Moore though.

32. "gave 25 years of his life to the US" Because he had a federal job?
So I guess Strom Thurmond is 2 and half times as good as Gore because he was a statewide politician for like 70 something years.

Gore inherited the family bussiness after failing to get where he wanted being a pothead journalist. And I don't worship any of the people in my picture. I'm a hard-line supporter of free speech and those are the people I see as being the most effective stalwarts of it right now.

28. I would
Anybody who enables this administration and its departure from the truth, I would boo loudly if I were there. I'm a patriot first, democrat second. By patriot, I mean I put my country and the concepts of truth and transparent government first. Its why I'll never vote republican and won't vote for dems that also violate those basic trusts required for informed decision making.
