Did * REALLY say this...? |
|
OK folks, I got an email from my college Dems which quotes Newsweek. Here it is:
President Bush, appearing before a right-to-life rally in Tampa, Florida on June 17, stated: "We must always remember that all human beings begin life as a feces. A feces is a living being in the eyes of God, who has endowed that feces with all of the rights and God-given blessings of any other human being."
The audience listened in disbelief as the President repeated his error at least a dozen times, before realizing that he had used the word 'feces" when he meant to say "fetus."
IS THIS REALLY TRUE? DID HE SAY THIS? If that assclown really, truly, honest-to-God said this... How can ANYONE vote for this buffoon?

3. Since it has been solidly debunked, contact your college Dems |

If you report Bush saying 100 dumbass (or worse: "homicidally false" is a phrase that could describe a bunch of stuff he's said) things and one of them turns out to be false, guess which the Republicans will focus on as a sign of your "desperation" or "intolerance" or whatever. It's a cheap, but well-tested tactic.
Republican: "Why can't you Democrats ever tell the truth?"
You: "Sweet God in heaven, what do you mean??!!"
R: "There's just so MUCH. I mean, okay, for example, there's that 'feces' thing."
Etc.
