Time for the monthly PETA bashing thread.

We get into a frenzy around once a month about how much we hate PETA. I noticed that we are overdue. Let me begin.

PETA is an extremist group and fails to get their message across because they turn so many people off.

1. Actually, they did something effective for a change.

So I won't bash them this time. They put a mole in a chicken slaughtering plant and he video taped the sadism and cruelty of the workers in how they killed the chickens.

Kudos to PETA and especially the poor guy who had to endure this for months in order to get the evidence.

2. Exactly. Their exposé was a great service.

I was already boycotting KFC because they served my kid ***EXPIRED, SOUR*** milk, and their food lately tastes like crap, but they gave me yet another reason to stay away from Yum!© brand "restaurants" (KFC, Taco Hell, Pizza Hut).

3. Not a PETA lover....

I think their protests for the most part are exactly as you state.

However, stuff like this video they released is far more effective.

4. The problem with PETA

as I see it is the people seem to want to link up PETA with the left wing all the time but i'd bet most left wing people like me think they are just extremist maniacs.
