Can someone please tell us why Rush Limbaugh |
|
is not being prosecuted for is illegal drug usage yet! In Nebraska, a former policeman who is a current state senator, has recently been indicted for getting a controlled drug from several different doctors at the same time. As an official unofficial spokesman for the far right who has trashed countless others - he must be held to the same standard. This loud mouthed drug addict whose forth marriage just ended in divorce needs for once to be held accountible for his own screwups. That is the remedy he constantly preaches to others.

3. He is being prosecuted |
|
Isn't he? He complains about it enough on his radio show anyway. I mean he's not in the court room yet; they are still doing investigations and preliminaries, I think. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

|
.... does it take?
There is no question in my mind that prosecutors are dragging their feet. If this had been joe sixpack, he would be staving off advances from his cellmate at this point.

4. Because the laws in this country don't apply to the wealthy |

Ken Lay will do less time than any smuck that steals a 6 back of beer from a 7/11.
If you are going to do crime, do it big. If you are going to be a drug addict, become a Republican first.

13. Unless they are a Democratic woman named Martha Stewart. |
|
Apparently all the money and lawyers Martha has couldn't overcome the fact that she was a rich woman who votes as a Democrat.

protected by Jeb and will continue to be so until he is of no use or counterproductive to the Bush Family. By the way today he proposing that the Democrats outed Berger to get the story out way before the election. He is also contending that the 911 report is a great support to Bush and puts him in a good light. Black is White. Up is Down. War is Peace.

10. Clinton? Wynona Rider? |
|
As I recall, Clinton was indeed prosecuted. His prosecutors (and persecutors) failed to secure a conviction. Ms. Rider was indeed prosecuted, found guilty, and sentenced.
Several other folks on your list were also haled into court and made to answer the charges against them, including O.J. and Whitney. I'm afraid I've either missed your point, or you've made it very badly.

12. Maybe because it was a suicide and not a murder. |
|
Speaking of murders, did anyone get convicted of the murder of the intern who was bludgeoned to death in Joe Scarboro's office?

That and the fact that he cannot hear his jail cell calling out to him.
The "Can't we all just get along" guy was Rodney King, who was represented pro bono by high-powered and very expensive lawyers looking for a very high-profile case that was probably a slam-dunk after the video. King, who at the time had a rap sheet as long as his arm, was subsequently arrested on drug posession and convicted (hard to get those high-powered lawyers to stand up for you all the time).
But back to ol' Limburger ...
My favorite line about him:
Q:"What's the difference between the Hindenburg and Rush Limbaugh?"
A:"One's a nazi gasbag and the other is a dirigible."
In Limberger's case, I believe Time Wounds All Heels.
