A question for DU'ers.....

Could a petition, signed by thousands of Dems, maybe even supported by an org such as Move-On, and forwarded to the DNC, prevent Zell Miller from entry to the Dem Convention? Some form of PUBLIC statement HAS to be made by Dems on this issue. Has there ever been another member of the Democratic Party to overtly support the nominee of the opposite party in a Presidential Election??

to look it up, but I'm sure I read that he is not coming, so it's a moot point.

For now, Miller is keeping mum about his plans. Asked whether he would attend the GOP convention, Miller replied, “I don’t know. I’m not going to the Democratic convention.”

To hear him speak, I don't imagine he has any interests (or friends)at our convention
