Media lies started a war....The Guardian...

"So, who will hold the newspapers' to account? It seems the only possible answer is YOU. You, the readers, must take us to task if we mislead you. If pressure groups would be bombarding us with calls and emails-you'd be surprised at the difference it makes. And if we don't respond with openness and honesty, should cancel your subscriptions and look elsewhere for your news."

it INFURIATES me when they make that excuse.

if enough wingnuts keep hassling them, does that mean they'll just KEEP LYING?

if they tell the fricking TRUTH, why should they care what ANYBODY says to them

that's such a copout

what bull

2. That's bull. How conveniently they ignored millions of people..
marching in the streets around the world and on the blogs. Now they want to place the blame on "US." What crappola!

4. I'd agree. They said that starting the war was wrong

but they didn't uncover the claims of Bush and Blair as lies. Here are their editorials from around the time the invasion was started:

Blair's moment of truth: A nightmare comes true in the Azores
Iraq's ultimate option: Surrender to the United Nations
Hope against hope: Pray that the war is quick and clean
