We should call into LARRY KING tonight and ask BILL MAHER why he turned
against Howard Stern. I don't think I'm the only one who thinks Maher and Stern have alot in common and should be on each others side against Bush. But Maher for some stupid reason seems to want to join in on the elite media bandwagon of demonizing Howard, his show, and his listeners, while he now kisses Imus's ass on occasion. Feel free to call in and ask something completely different of course. It's just a suggestion. This is actually sort of a version of something I posted in the Howard Stern bulliten board. As well as just an all around reminder about Maher being on Larry King.

1. Howard Stern Rocks! And this is coming for a
grandmother who doesn't listen to his show except when he interviewed Michael Moore.

I did see "Private Parts" recently because I was interested in Stern's history now that he has seen the repukes for what they are and he has such a large interested audience.

It was hysterical..he did a great job as himself and it was funny to the bone.

As for bill maher..I don't know what gets up his ass..maybe he's jealous?

Edited on Thu Jul-22-04 07:47 PM by chimpsrsmarter
did you hear Sterns show the night after Imus and his wife and kid were on Larry King? He was on there hawking his cookbook and extoling the virtues of being a vegan and basically just how fantastic he and the wife are, anyhow, the next day Howard just killed them on his show, it was too fing funny. I'm driving to my office and i have tears coming down my face.

21. I was listening to one of those call-in shows
and they talked about how LOUSY Imus' & wife cookbook recipes really are. A woman said she bought the book & was NOT happy because the recipes sucked and the items in the recipes were expensive. But, if you listen to Imus on his show, he CONTINUALLY plugs his ranch for those poor sick children and how his wife takes care of those sick little ones. Sounds like he's still plugging to make a mint on those sick kids. Wonder how much those families are paying for their children to go to his ranch?

3. Frankly, I'm not a fan of Howard Stern. There is only so much
*take your shirt of, ohhh yeahhhh, your really hot* and *fart directly into the microphone* I can personally take.

But, I'm glad he's battling Bush. :hi:

10. what? I don't understand what you are saying. But for this program,
I will take Maher just as he is.
I have seen him before (on Politically incorrect) and I didn't agree with everything he said. But right now, he is doing an EXCELLENT job.

17. You have GOT to be kidding. Obviously you think DM
is intelligent because he uses such asinine words to make a statement that could have been made in less time if he was not trying to show that he gets "Word of the Day" and studies it.

Puhlease, Miller has failed at everything he has attempted. I don't have much hope for him on CNBC either. I sure do not watch him and cannot why anyone would be impressed by that man?????

12. It's probably more of a personal thing. They both hang out in the same plac
When he's on Stern he seems to be kind of "grossed out" and disgusted with him.

20. Actually, Stern was for Bush in how he want after the terrorists...
Keep in mind he works in the city that was most badly hit. He was in doing his show the day it happened so there is no love lost with the Saudi's, or most middle east peoples.

He started changing his mind on Bush after he read Al Frankin's book while on vacation. He came bakc and started ripping Bush. Then 3 days later Clear Channel drops him and the FCC starts threatening him. The rest is now where we are at.

Give a person credit for changing his mind and speaking it. Especially when against Bush!!
