My Bush-loving neighbor says she likes Kerry & wants to know more abt him!

I brought her to see Fahrenheit 9-11 and she was really shaken up about it. She says that her change of mind doesn't really have anything to do with the movie though. She says shes going to watch the debates and see what she thinks.

This is a person that used to like Bush so much that she had a picture of dumbo on her refrigerator.

The extent to which Bush's appearances to the public have been stage-managed is unprecedented. He has a huge, dedicated staff trying to make him look his best. If one likes George W., it's the same thing as liking President Bartlet from the TV show. His clothes, his speeches, and even off-the-cuff remarks and mannerisms are coached. In Bartlet's case, the guy playing him is a trained actor. Bush is not, and sometimes he lets the persona slip, especially if he's tired or exasperated.
