"Washington Wives" -- Teresa, Elizabeth, and Judy Dean on A&E
To be rebroadcast at midnight, Mountain time, which I assume is 2am eastern.

It's a good program, with lots of good interviewing of the women.

For those who want to record, it's a two-hour program. Worth the tape. :)

teresa comes across as easy to speak with as always.

i loved the part with elizabeth edwards and emma claire. emma claire is like a typical little girl acting silly and being a little "naughty" at times. but elizabeth is a loving mother while at the same time providing discipline and being firm and serious in telling emma that type of behavior is not acceptable. i liked when emma was making weird faces and noises with her mouth and toungue at the camera and her dad told her to stop and go to him. when she said no, her mother in a serious tone told her to listen to her father. no question emma will grow up to be a very good person because of this just like her older sister.

elizabeth reminds me of many mothers i see in stores and elsewhere who are busy doing whatever they need to do while also taking care of little kids.

too bad the bush family never teaches their kids right from wrong.

3. I haven't seen Teresa in this context before.....
I'm enjoying her more than I did on Larry King --she seemed kinda wooden on that show.

Later in the program, she talks about having grown up in Africa, and how that influenced her in terms of being honest and upfront. Something we could sure learn from!

I don't know what kind of role she would have as first lady, but maybe she would be able to influence in thsociety in terms of honesty and courtesy. We sure need both!

4. John Heinz had a pretty good record in social issues
I wonder how much Teresa influenced him.

She's talking about *never* asking either husband to cast a certain vote, but how she discussed things with them.
