Subliminal Rovian Advertising???

As a student of Wilson Key and several others in the fine art of aural and visual manipulation and stimulation, I always view advertising from a different perspective. About a week ago, I was working away with the TV chattering in the background...while deep in thought some great computer masterpiece (I think I was playing Sim City) I was snapped back to "reality" when I thought I heard my telephone ring. I waited again and didn't hear a second ring...shrugged and started releasing disasters again. Didn't think about it until it happened again.

The next time I was reading...again with the TV on for chatter...and again, I was again distracted by what sounded like my phone ringing. This time I looked up and on the tube was the Bunnypants propaganda ad with the "Laci Peterson Law" (WTF that is??)...and it caught me what was going on. The next time the ad came on, I paid attention and noticed, when the announcer starts slamming Kerry, the charge is spelt out on the screen...one word at a time. Every time a word is put on the screen, it's accompanied by a sound effect...that similar to a telephone. Thus when the charge is made, it's done in a pattern not unlike the sound of a phone ringing.

There's nothing illegal with this...as this is an old trick to get someone's attention. TV and movie producers use these little gimmicks...like a siren flaring in the distance or a baby crying...noise that reaches inside and gets you to look. Deceptive? Yes...but a ad agency person will tell you that you employ any trick in the book just to get attention. This isn't to brainwash, just to get you to look up and notice.

I was curious if others noticed this...and other tricks Rove is using to distort and distract and this regime continues to avoid any sense of responsibility and attempts to destroy John Kerry.

...or even entertains the thoughts presented... EVERYTIME they hear the sound in their everyday lives, they subconsciously replay the message.
