5. You and me both, RonnyK. You and me both...
Ihave spread it a bit, mostly to Kerry but some to DNC, DCCC, DSCC, and some local campaigns like DeLay's opponent, Richard Morrsion.

(wouldn't that just be the cherry on top?)

24. Never mind
"Using campaign funds,Sen. John Kerry has repaid a $6.4 million personal loan that the Democratic presidential candidate used to keep his campaign afloat last winter."

8. BTW, after Kerry accepts the nomination
we can't donate money to the campaign, but can't we still do things like buy campaign materials at kerrygear.com to distribute?

12. We can still purchase from Kerry Gear
Other places to donate are your local and state Democrats and to the DNC.

18. Maybe that was the plot all along!
The repugs got all these appealing, idealist candidates like Clark, Dean and Dennis out there in the primaries to get all of us poor liberals tapped out so that by the time of the convention, the only ones who can afford to donate are the unions and corporations!

;)

13. I donated $150 to Dean's campaign and $25 to Kucinich's
Edited on Fri Jul-23-04 01:15 PM by UdoKier
Considering my paltry (barely $30K income, living in San Francisco, and mountains of debt, it was pretty tough to do so.

Now that the nominee is Kerry who has his wife's billions behind him, I can't in good conscience give ANY money.

I totally support the candidate and will gladly volunteer my time, but how does someone as broke as me give to a billionaire candidate?

I've heard the right wing whores saying this, but instinctively doubted the claim's veracity.

16. I'm not sure...
Edited on Fri Jul-23-04 01:15 PM by UdoKier
I'm not sure how much of Teresa's fortune he (or even she) has at his disposal.

The one thing I'm sure of is that he is very well-off compared to Dean, who was comfortable but not filthy rich, or Kuchinich, who still lives in a dump of a house...

If I was much more comfortable financially I might donate, but for the time being all I can give is time. Kerry could throw in a million of his personal fortune and not even feel it.

I give a hundred and I'm a hundred deeper in hock...

Posting during work hours because my computer at home is busted, yeah I saw that. Tell you what, I think I'll print that out today or tommorow if I am back on, well if I am back on. Is there any way to say send cash? If I cant donate, anyone mind sending like 50 dollars for me, if you cant, thats fine, its just the only computers at the house are busted and theres no printer in my office so I cant print out that form unless I wanna risk getting busted and print it out in a room where someone else is working, dont wanna get in trouble.
