if the Dem. Convention gets attacked, Shrub's going to have a lot of explaining to do! His campaign is based upon the idea that he is the
only person who can fight terrorism and keep us safe.
He's had three years to make us safer. The security level at the convention is going to be
extremely high. The Department of Homeland Security has declared the convention a National Security Special Event, which means many federal, state and local agencies will work together.
(Source: MSNBC) Millions of dollars, countless resources and months of preparation have gone into the security plan. If it fails, how can he possibly maintain credibility as our protector? If his Homeland Security team can't even secure a building that contains members of the United States Congress, then what good is it? How competent is Bush* as a leader if he can't even mobilize our best resources to secure our country?
I know ... the sheeple probably won't give it that much thought. They'll simply cower in fear and ignore the fact that the man who claims he is their only hope for security has failed yet again. :eyes:
In any case, I still think Bush has painted himself into a corner on this issue. And he won't be able to blame Clinton for it. The question is ... will anyone hold him accountable this time?
