Could it be because it's tanking. Dow below 10,000....nasdaq below 2000. He's a wartime president and a shitty one at that. http://money.cnn.com/2004/07/23/markets/markets_newyork/index.htm?cnn=yes

2. He's Got Nothing. He's Actually BEGGING Black People To Vote For Him!
He's reduced to grovelling before minorities for their votes and he can't even really give them any reasons why they should, except that he asked nicely...

3. He leaves that up to Fox, CNN, etc
Anything slightly positive about the economy is a major story on cable news... so, despite the fact that last month's job numbers were extremely disappointing, durable goods orders have fallen 2 months in a row and wages are not keeping up with inflation, any slight uptick is greeted by blaring calls of "Bush taxcuts working" and "Kerry would recovery"

and, if markets have a bad day, we get "markets nervous about Kerry presidency"

4. Bush is NOT a Wartime President.
He is a "War President". That's what he said on Meet The Press and we must hold him to those words. The horrifying chasm of meaning between Wartime President and War President must not be overlooked.
