Just got this e-mail Hate Michael Moore calling him 'Pigman'
This is from an on-line stock tip newletter. Maybe it's been posted before.
***********************************************************

This article by Michael Niewodowski regarding "Michael
Moore's movie is right on the money" as published in
the Sarasota Herald-Tribune

Was just sent this article by Michael Niewodowski, a
chef at the Windows on the World restaurant, who was
supposed to report to work on at the top of the World
Trade Center at 9:00 a.m, Sept 11th. The first plane
hit at 8:46.

He's not a professional writer, but his take on this
human pig of a man, Michael Moore, could not be better
put.

There has been films made about Pearl Harbor. There
have been more than 20 films made about Pearl Harbor,
and over 200 films made about World War II.

These films inspire patriotism, courage, and
nationalism. They tell us about the honor and bravery
of the soldiers and the nation that supported them.

Two and a half years after the attack on Pearl Harbor,
the world watched American forces fight on D-Day.

Two and a half years after the Sept. 11 terrorist
attacks, the world is watching Michael Moore's
"Fahrenheit 9/11." Moore's film is the first major
motion picture about Sept. 11, 2001.

This bears repeating. When future generations look
back on the Sept. 11 massacre, their first impression,
through the medium of film, will be a work in which
the president and the government are blamed for the
attacks, and the soldiers who are protecting this
country are defamed.

Instead of a film version of Lisa
Beamer's book, "Let's Roll," or Richard Picciotto's
"Last Man Down," we are presented with this fallacy.

<snip>

"Fahrenheit 9/11" is indicative of a nation that has
become too apathetic, ignorant or deceived to face the
enemy at the gate.

America ... where is your fury?

<snip>

I am outraged!

This film is based on conjecture, hearsay and
propaganda. At a time when this country desperately
needs to rally in support of our brave soldiers and
our strong leaders, Moore is content to spread discord
and divisiveness. The base of his argument is that the
Bush administration had strong ties with the bin Laden
family.

However, sound facts are conspicuously absent from
this "documentary." The 9/11 commission did not indict
President Bush. According to the report, the
president's actions before, during and after the
attacks are fully justified, including the military
action in Iraq. The commission did not find a direct
link between Saddam Hussein's Iraq and the Sept. 11
terrorist attacks. A similar commission in the 1940s
would not have found a direct link between Hitler's
Germany and the attack on Pearl Harbor. In both
instances, the threat was imminent; the president and
the military acted decisively.

Could we have been more
prepared for a terrorist attack on Sept. 10, 2001?
Certainly. Could we have been more prepared for an
attack on Dec. 6, 1941? Most definitely. In the weeks
and months following Pearl Harbor, there were reports
and criticisms that the government and military should
have been more prepared. The difference is that the
people of the nation did not waste a lot of time
pointing fingers at each other. Rather, they unified
and engaged the enemy head-on. I guess that is why we
call them "The Greatest Generation."

How will future generations refer to us?

So, how do we explain Moore's film to future
generations? I wonder. More than that, I wonder how I
would explain this film to Nancy D., Jerome N. or
Heather H. I am sure you don't know their names, but
their faces haunt me day and night. How would I
explain to them that a film was made accusing the
president and vilifying the soldiers ... the same
president and soldiers who are attempting to avenge
their murders and protect other citizens.

Moore has not only insulted the nation, he has
insulted the victims of the terrorist attacks.

During his acceptance speech at the Oscars, Moore
said, "Shame on you, Mr. Bush."

Well, I say, "Shame on you, Michael Moore."

Shame on everyone who supports this travesty of a
film. Shame on a society that allows this sham of a
film.

You have weakened the nation.

These people are morons and ignorant

Why do they always compare Pearl Harbor with Sept 11th?
Is it something that someone in Government has said and they
repeat it?

Pearl Harbor and Sept 11th are 2 different scenarios

Pearl Harbor, we were attacked by Japan
Sept 11th, Supposed airlines were hijacked and flown into buildings
and 3000 people died

*snore*

Nothing new to report in this rant. I'm still waiting for *******Specific Lies*********

Lies, for instance, like where he says that "there was no link between Hitler and Pearl Harbor."

1) LAFFO that's a lie: Hitler ---> Japan ---> Pearl Harbor

2) We didn't attack Hitler in retaliation, we attacked Japan. I WW2 parallel to today's events would be to attack Vichy France with Japan as an ally in retalitaion for Pearl Harbor.

Surely you fired back a message indicating that somebody who's idiotic enough to pass this along is not a worthwhile source of "stock tips"?

9. Send back a picture of dimwit stunned in the classroom.
FDR and all the soldiers at Tora Tora and all the other battles would have leapt to action. Dimwit has disgraced the memory of men and women who have acted decisively when the nation was in harm's way.

Why does the author talk about the contents and alleged conclusions of the 911 commission when this letter was written BEFORE the report was published?!

And it is all over the net which looks like a less-than-organic echo campaign.

Good refutation here: http://www.watchblog.com/cgi-bin/mt-comments.cgi?entry_id=1283 (scroll one third down)

Includes:
>In the weeks and months following Pearl
> Harbor ... the people of the nation did
> not waste a lot of time pointing fingers
> at each other.

Ha, that's funny. In the weeks and months leading up to Pearl Harbor, isolationist appeasing Republicans continually opposed FDR's desire to decare war on Germany and Japan. Germany had overrun France and had been bombing Britain for almost two years before Dec 7, 1941. After Pearl Harbor, there wasn't a lot of finger pointing because the Republicans finally ran out of arguments against America going to war.

Added: Also I note that Michael N. is now an undergrad at USF and lives in Bradenton Florida. How did he go from being a "chef" in NYC three years ago to an undergrad in south Florida now? Hmmmmm.

11. Defamed the Military and 9-11 victims?
Tell me how this movie did that. My husband, the Marine, felt that the movie portrayed soldiers accurately, and did not feel that Moore left a negative impression on them. Trust me, you don't mess with this Marine re: troops. He was angry that Bush and his administration sent those boys and girls into harms way for nothing. THAT was the impression he got from F911.

The only impression I got about 911 victims was that Bush let them down. Moore did not use that tragedy in any way negatively. He didn't even show the disaster, just used a black screen.

The 911 Commission just came out with their findings for chrissake -- how in the hell can this writer know what they would come up with beforehand?

SHEESH! This kind of stuff makes me angry. And people swallow it whole.

And would they do the same thing if Roosevelt had used Pearl Harbor as an excuse to annex Canada, Mexico, and Central America? Y'Know, do a buch of stuff that had no relation to Pearl Harbor, but as long as everyone was riled up he'd use the opportunity? Seems to me a lot of those WW2 films wouldn't have been quite as gung-ho.

"F9/11" exists because a bunch of supremely arrogant SOBs in power with debatable legitimacy (can you even admit the 2000 election was the most unusual in American history?) turned out to be so fixated at pushing their ideological agenda that they were blind and incomptent in performing the duties of their offices, and what's more used the turmoil of their failure to ram even MORE of their agenda through in complete disregard for the founding principles of this nation.

We aren't the ones who have weakened the nation, sir. YOU are.

15. the rantings of a desperate man in fear
that his artificial construct is falling down all around him and he's trying to grasp onto to anything to keep from opening up his eyes and seeing the truth. Seeing that the truth is too hard for him to take, he'd be the kind of person, in his self-induced desperation, to grab a gun and kill women and children at the Chuck E Cheese before turning the gun on himself. That's who this kind of guy represents.
