did anyone watch hardball (kristen b) last night? |
|
i wasnt able to watch it but there was a short thread last night and someone mentioned that kristen started to say something about sandy berger then stopped. it was suggested that "she thought sandy berger knew something" but then stopped herself from saying any more on the show and of course they just went on to the next topic
i thought of this today so wanted to ask if anyone had seen it? specifically, i was wondering
- what was kristens demeanor when she was referencing sandy? was it something she was possibly angry about (sandy and documents he removed...) or was she intrigued/hopeful, thinking that there is something to this story that hasnt come out yet but which she thinks sandy knows about....
i ask because she certainly has worked very hard to find out information re 9/11, and has done a great deal of homework on this and is just trying to get out the truth, push the truth forward. and she clearly is privy to things that the general public doesnt know/ isnt being told by media
so i am very interested to hear how anyone would "interpret" kristens brief reference to sandy last night...
thank you

1. I caught her by accident....as I recall... |
|
I don't think she brought up Berger, I think Matthews did, basically asking what she thought of the whole thing. I think she said "I don't know at all" what's going on with it (sic). I think she was trying very hard to emphasize that she didn't know anything and to shut off the whole topic.
At the very end, she did manage to slam Bush hard for sitting in that classroom for so long. She said that anyone "human" would have displayed some curiosity about what was going on, forget about being the President.
Earlier she said that Clinton didn't act strongly enough with regard to going after Osama, but Bush went the other way, too strongly militarily. She said she was hoping for a "middle" ground approach.
I didn't think her comments about Clinton were really on the mark...because there was no reference to the crap the GOP was pulling at the time...you know, the "peace party" .....

2. thank you for sharing all that. she has such common sense and fair play |
|
that i value what she says.
i will have to look back at that thread last night because someone distinctly made it sound like kristen may have known something that she didnt want to say, and so pulled back.
thanks again. i know sometimes it goes by so quickly on that show....!
