The flight crew and the Air Marshalls on the flight were not alarmed, it was just these two knuckleheads. The Syrians she wrote about in her Wall Street journal piece should sue her ass big time!

I happen to be a contractor who drives a white pick-up and a white panel van. At first they thought the snipers were white middle age guys driving white panel trucks. I absolutely fit that description despite being 1/4 native american.
Did I mind the numerous police stops?
no. I wanted them to catch the guys.
I had this same conversation with an Iranian client the other week. I asked him if he felt like people profile him etc. This guy looks like what we stereotypically view as a middle easterner. His attitude was like mine, sure it's momentarily uncomfortable, but he'd rather be searched before getting on a plane and stared at then end up in a building because some other whacko's crash the plane.

When the hijackers start to look different, you can bet we'll start profiling them too.
