Poll: Americans Against Using Torture
(AP) WASHINGTON - Two-thirds of Americans believe the United States should never use physical torture of people it detains, according to a poll on attitudes about physical abuse.

Another important Bush administration initiative runs into voter opposition...

1. So 1/3 of all Americans have no problem with it?
Gee, I wonder which third that is... could it be the same third that had no problem with assassinating lefties in the 60's, the same third that stuck by Nixon after all his anti-Democratic misadventures were exposed, and the same third who believe the (Republican) president has the right to indefinitely detain people on a whim? The irony is that these are the same people who rail against our "moral relativism" and claim to be against a strong central government. One more example of that the Parties aren't the same, the Repugs are definitively evil, stained black to their cold empty souls.

3. Yeah, it's those wonderful right wing Christians
with all of their family values and love of God's children coming into play.

2. What does the opinion of the Imperial Subjects of Amerika count for?
Nothing.

Back in the Days of the Old Republic when we were free instead of rapidly transitioning towards Totalitarianism, it might have meant something.

In Todays New Amerika.

You can wipe your ass on the opinion of Imperial Subjects of Amerika.

It is worth NOTHING to the Imperials. They are going to torture and KEEP TORTURING, as they are NOW.

Nothing any Imperial Subject says or thinks will mean a damn to their Masters.
