My response to one of my friends RE: Bush at the Urban League
Edited on Fri Jul-23-04 05:57 PM by wndycty
This is my response to one of my best friends. . .A BLACK REPUBLICAN

============================
The problem is this is insincere and Bush knows it. He can talk as much shit as he wants about reaching out to us and asking what the Democrats are doing, but that is a misdirection. Need I remind everyone that this is the same president who sided with the people who sued the University of Michigan in regards to affirmative action? He used that code word “quotas” to appeal to his bigoted base. Need I remind you he gave a speech at Bob Jones University to appeal to his bigoted base?

He can talk all the shit that he wants but the reality is it is not sincere. Its funny that he takes issue with the NAACP for their criticism if him without acknowledging how hostile his administration is viewed as it relates to civil rights. He can bitch and moan about how the NAACP has attacked him, but then he goes and plays right into their hands by attacking civil rights through the affirmative action lawsuit and appointing conservative judges with questionable records as it relates to civil rights.

I keep hearing everyone talking shit about how their is no difference between the two parties, if the Democratic party is so lame and doing nothing for Blacks how come every Black elected official on the FEDERAL LEVEL is a Democrat? Other than JC Watts, who has retired, tell me the last time the Republican party has given us Black elected officials on the FEDERAL LEVEL. I point this out because there are so many gerrymandered congressional districts in this country that either party controls that if the GOP had any commitment to African Americans we would have some of those seats. Sure the Democrats have a lot of work to do, but for Bush to suggest that the GOP is a viable option for us at this point is point is pure BS! Go ahead let them fool you, go ahead and believe the hype that they feed you about there being no difference between the parties.

Bush talks all this shit about being a leader, yet his bitch ass is the FIRST PRESIDENT SINCE TRUMAN not to address the NAACP (even Reagan, Nixon, and the 1st Bush did), he cites their treatment of him but the reality is he is playing to his bigoted base. Remember this is the same motherfucker talking about reaching out to African Americans while he is trying to fuck affirmative action.

4. Amen!
And he asks if the Democrats are "deserving of their votes"...Most blacks remember the last Democratic President quite fondly, actually. There were more blacks working tan anytime in history. They were buying more homes and moving into the middle-class like no time in our history. Even young black employment rate was at record lows. It's a fair question but yes, the Democrats have proven worthy of the black vote, in my opinion.

By the way, I had heard that Bush was the first president since Harding in the 1920's not to speak before the NAACP??

7. Perfect tone.
How DARE Bush complain about the way he is treated by black organizations, all the while he is legislatively and judicially aligning AGAINST their interests.

The hubris of this dictatortot is STUNNING in its sheer proportion.

9. Show this to your Black Republican friend
It's a letter from a national board member of the Council of Conservative Citizens, an organization that counts Attorney General Ashcroft, former GOP Chairman Haley Barbour, and Senator Trent Lott among its friends:

<snip>

Being the shallow, n*gger-loving dilettante that you are, you probably DO consider n*ggers to be your equal (who am I to question this?): Yet, unlike you and your allies, I have an I.Q. in excess of 130, which grants me the ability to objectively evaluate the Great American Nigro (Africanus Criminalis.)

The nigro is 11.5 % of the U.S. population, yet he commits in excess of 55% of all felonies (although felonies are UNDER-represented in the nigro community, where observing the law is considered "acting White!") Moreover, he (or should I say she?)accounts for 48% of all ADC recipients in the U.S. We have spent over $7 TRILLION on "Urban Welfare Spending" since the mid-1960s, (black economists Thomas Sowell & Walter Williams) and the nigro is still as criminal, surly, lazy , violent and stupid as he/she ever was, while his illegitimacy rate is 80% nationwide, and over 90% in the "large urban areas."

<snip>

Some day, You sanctimonious n*gger-lovers will either have to live amongst them ("nothing cures an enthusiasm for integration like a good dose of n*ggers") or else defend yourselves against them. My guess is that you are such a cowardly and pusillanimous lot of girly-boys, they will kill fuck, kill and eat you just as they do young White males in every prison system in the U.S. That's right: When defending this savage and brutish lot, you must also consider their natural ( or should I say UN-natural) enthusiasm for buggery!

I honestly pray to God that some n*gger fucks, kills and eats you and everyone you claim to love!

11. PLEASE REMIND YOUR FRIEND OF THIS:
he refused to sign the hate crime bill in Texas after James Byrd was dragged to his death.
