Boortz equates Kerry supporters with Islamic jihadists - no joke!
For your amusement and outrage:

From the July 23 broadcast of the nationally syndicated Neil Boortz show:

BOORTZ: Frankly I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out who is a greater threat to this country and I -- I don't -- I don't ask this question or make this statement for the purpose of saying something outlandish that you will repeat at lunch or dinner today. It's not why I'm doing this. But there's two different groups of people out there that present a threat to this country. Well there's many different groups. But I'm just singling out two different groups of people right now that present a threat to this country, and frankly I just cannot tell you which one presents the greater threat. One group of people: Osama bin Laden and his Islamic terrorists. The Islamic jihadists. The other group of people: those of you who would vote for John Kerry. And both groups present a threat to our safety and a threat to our future. A threat to our freedoms and a threat to our economic liberty.

And again I'm not saying this for effect. I mean this. I can not make up my mind which group is most dangerous. I can't. Because those of you, out there, who would vote for John Kerry for president of the United States, I have -- I deeply, deeply, feel that you present a danger to this country. To our freedoms. To our very safety. And to our future. Just as the Islamic terrorists do. And I hope you know what in the hell you're doing, but frankly I doubt it very, very seriously.

3. Geez Louise
and to think despite how dangerous I feel bush is, despite how I feel a vote for him is an immoral act, I still believe people have the right to vote for whomever they want to vote for.

What a whack job, truly. Ooooo, I'm SUCH a threat!!! Oh yeah.

4. These people really don't want democracy, they want their KING!
He's not gonna come right out and say that Kerry voters should be incinerated by an angry mob (YET), but that's the idea floated here.

They really don't want you to be able to vote because they consider a vote for other than their king to be illegitimate. Do you think people like this, or who listen to guys like this and agree, would have any problem with vote stealing by the boy king?

9. They certainly didn't have a problem with vote stealing in 2000 or with
purging legally eligible voters.

As for a lot of the people who listen to these rwing nuts - even though he and Savage, Coulter, etc., may not come out and call for the incineration of Kerry voters by an angry mob they plant these seeds within the minds of the lowest common denominators of society.

5. I joined the media matters asshole watch just for Neal Boortz
today he was reading what MM had to say about his asshole Cynthia McKinney remarks.

Trying to make fun of it -- he tried to feign ignorance about MM and who ran it.

He's a sorry fucker.

Yeah... he's a bad bad man... we need to remove him from power.... he may try to do things that will support the terrorist threat. Let's drop 2000 lb. DU coated bunker busters anywhere and everywhere we "think" he may be... damn the civilians... damn the civilians... and after we do this maybe 25 times.... we can put him up in a jail and furnish him a lawyer.... or 20.

Cheney Lobbied Congress to Ease Sanction Against Terrorist Countries While CEO of Halliburton

>>Now Halliburton is being investigated by a grand jury for possibly violating federal sanctions while Cheney was chief executive of the company by doing business in Iran. That hasn't stopped Cheney from repeatedly sticking his foot in his mouth. On the campaign trail, Cheney has been saying that Iran has ties to al-Qaeda and some of the 9-11 hijackers. But when Cheney was chief executive of Halliburton he wasn't concerned about that. But former President Bill Clinton was. The Clinton administration said U.S. companies conducting business in Iran may be inadvertently helping fund terrorist activities in that country.<<

7. "Enemies of the state?"
Firstly, he doesn't give one example of how voting for Kerry will cause xyz problems.

Secondly, his words make me think of something I found at

http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/GERantisemitism.htm

"According to Adolf Hitler, Jews were responsible for everything he did not like, including modern art, pornography and prostitution. Hitler also alleged that the Jews had been responsible for losing the First World War. Hitler also claimed that Jews, who were only about 1% of the population, were slowly taking over the country. They were doing this by controlling the largest political party in Germany, the German Social Democrat Party, many of the leading companies and several of the country's newspapers. The fact that Jews had achieved prominent positions in a democratic society was, according to Hitler, an argument against democracy: "a hundred blockheads do not equal one man in wisdom."

Hitler believed that the Jews were involved with Communists in a joint conspiracy to take over the world. Like Henry Ford, Hitler claimed that 75% of all Communists were Jews. Hitler argued that the combination of Jews and Marxists had already been successful in Russia and now threatened the rest of Europe. He argued that the communist revolution was an act of revenge that attempted to disguise the inferiority of the Jews. "

Some people, not knowing any better, will shy away from voting for Kerry based solely on comments like this.
