Today, Chimp asked the Black community, "What has the Democratic Party"
done for you?

Democrats spearheaded the civil rights act. In doing so, Democrats abandoned racists southern base for the good of the people even though knowingly, it reduced there white voter base.

I know there is much more...feel free to add.

1. Dems haven't suggested the 'need to surpress the Detroit vote' like GOP
lawmaker did the other day. Hmmmm, Detroit vote, 85% black. Ya suppose the GOP lawmaker is suggesting....

2. Harry Truman integrated the Armed Forces,
which has been the place where many African Americans have made a career and have gone up the economic ladder.

Head Start was created to help all poor children, but it has definately helped minorities.

4. The better question, of course
is what have the Republicants done *to* you.
You know, Reagans Welfare Queens, Willie Horton, Anita Hill...
Trent Lott, I mean we could be at this all day, but you get the point.

I'm so tired of that god damned slur. It makes me madder than using 'liberal' as a curse word.

Have they ever sent the highly minority based military into a warzone for piss poor reasons... lies... half-truths... rumor and innuendo?? Have they gotten their children maimed, crippled and killed because they just gotta be a hero?? Thrown the U.N. weapons inspectors out while they were in the midst of proving that there need not be an invasion of Iraq... even while they were cutting up missiles... 70 some perhaps?? These guys all belong in Abu Ghraib. Shame on them. I am ashamed of these people... I truly am.

8. Did Bush mention the "Southern Strategy?"
That was Nixon's strategy of siding with Southern white crackers against expanding civil rights, so they would stop voting Democratic.

The Repugs had to choose between locking up the Southern white cracker vote and having any damned chance to appeal to blacks, and they made their choice.

12. I know one thing the democratic party didn't do:
remove tens of thousands of eligible black voters from the roles in Florida. Old george w. doesn't understand how many people remember little things like that.

15. Thank You. My letter the WaPo
<http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A8805-2004Jul23.html>

Bush Asks African Americans to Reconsider Him

WaPo your are so deliberately bias toward Republicans. This article is a perfect example. Why on God's Earth you cannot have a writer that has half a brain to explain one simple question we the freaking people never get from your GOP whore media paper. That question is why?

Why do 85 percent... It's actually 92 percent of black people support democrats over Republicans - and especially... WHY??? do they not support this particular President at all? I know the answer. It's simple... Its clear... and it's NEVER reported by this GOP Paper. It's called voter purging. It's been going on for decades and it was clearly exposed in Florida after JEB and K. Harris and Bush stole over 35,000 votes from blacks by illegally removing sir and middle initials from the names of actual felons then tagging them to and removing the matching innocent names from the lists of valid voters. We have all the proof. THE GODDAMN PROOF and your GOP WHORE PAPER IGNORES THIS CRIME.

That is Why.

17. If any foreign power tried to disenfranchise 50,000 white republicans,
VP Dick Cheney would be doing cartwheels in the streets, demanding a military reaction. Fighter jets would be flying through the skies. Bombs would drop.

But when they want to remove 50,000 black citizens who's only crime is that they are informed enough to know exactly who is trying to steal from them, then george w.'s brother and his friend Katherine Harris can accuse them of being "potential felons" ..... and remove them from the voting rolls. I believe that there a good many people, of all colors and creeds, that know who the felons are.

There's going to be a more selective removal of felonious criminals from the rolls this November, uncurious george w. Then you can sit on your ranch and ponder the question: what did black Americans do for their country this fall? Answer: They saved it.

16. Is this the time to ask this question? Ever since 2000 I haven't erased
Edited on Fri Jul-23-04 06:50 PM by higher class
the memory of smug Repugs smirking in confidence about the results of the military vote they were expecting to get when the ballots came in from the bases. They were totally confident and the contempt in their facial expressions and words was sickening. If there are so many Black-Americans in the military, how could they be so confident? Did they lose the ballots of the Blacks? Do they brainwash the military? Any theories?

while governor of Texas after a black man, James Byrd, was dragged to his death. The Urban League needs to remember that
