Poll on CNN...WTF?
56/38 Americans think Bush is better to fight terrorism.

WTF is this all about?

WTF has Bush done to make this country safer?

Last I heard Al-Qaeda was thriving with their recruiting, the worst terrorist act in US history happened on Bush's watch, they are still concerned about more attacks, and he has yet to even really go after Al-Qaeda.

Why is he considered tough on terrorism?

2. LOL...That is the way I look at it, too
but Kerry needs to focus on this. Bush is playing right into Al-Qaeda's hands and people just don't realize it.

3. 50 Million download, top of the bestsellers...the 9/11 commision report
will NOT BENEFIT BUSH*'S image as the War President. Apparently, the report said that the war in Iraq should not be called the "war on terror." BWAHAHAHAHAHA! We are always ahead of the curve.

11. I hopped-skipped one channel up during ads in Olbermann...caught Zahn
with TWO REPUGS smirking about how unappealing Kerry was and threatening that "we are going to watch the Dem convention verrrry closely." Enough for me. Hop-skip back to ads.

5. Help me out here...
I was just thinking about this today. If I am not grossly mistaken, there was a recent poll in which the question is asked "Do you think America is safer now?" (or something to that effect) and an overwhelming majority answered "no". So how can the American people believe we are not safer, yet trust Bush more to protect us?

I may be wrong about the previous poll, but I don't think so.

I DO know there is a poll (was mentioned today on TV) that says Americans, again by a very large majority) believe the country is on the wrong track. I just don't see how these things all square up!

12. The right track/wrong track polls are misleading.
On the surface you would think the "wrong track" voters would not support Bush*. That isn't the case. I've talked to a few clueless, Bushbot fundies who say the country is on the wrong track because liberals are forcing gay marriages on the country and the country is turning away from Godliness (Bushiness?).

As for the safer now poll, Kerry still hasn't convinced most people he can make the country safer than Bush*. Right now it's the "devil you know" syndrome. Plus, Bush* has shown no reluctance to use force and kill people. Evidently that's a big plus to the electorate when talking about security. I would say people don't think Bush* is all that great, but suspect Kerry would be softer, hence (in their eyes) worse.

9. Got to make it if you want to fight it. People probably think Kerry will
bring an end to it, thus precluding need to fight.
