Doc's response:
What is the source for this info? How can we verify some of this stuff?
Which votes did he vote with Hill & Ted on? Doesnt Ted & Hillary and Edwards vote w/ Republicans on some things too? Hill, Edwards, and various Republicans have agreed on votes many times (Patriot Act, going to Iraq, etc). What is this supposed to mean?
The stuff about Iraq- was he relying on what the Bush admin provided him? I know most folks in the US also trusted Bush on these things too. Is the lesson that Edwards should not have believed Bush?
Also- as far as Edwards or Kerry missing votes, it would also be interesting to know how much time Bush & Cheney have spent campaigning on the job when they could have been wrapping up Iraq or fixing the economy- that way we would have a better context as to how bad this really is.
Truth is, all of the candidates are campiagning owhen they probably should be doing the job, not just Edwards. It's a legitimate concern for both sides.
I'll take Edwards exaggerated flaws over Bush's real ones anyday
