Watching Wolf Blitzer's tumor
that all the CNN people have growing out of the canthus of the lip...

They are 'wehre the action is' on the floor of the Democratic Convention and so they have this 'new technology' that allows them to talk and hear at the same time, he said yesterday. They gave them this somewhat flesh-colored mouthpiece and protector right next to the corner of the lip and they look like even bigger idiots than they alredy are. Reminded me of 'This Is Spinal Tap' when eveyone has the same herpes lesion on the lip at around the same time.

So they can spout their nonsense about how if Kerry doesn't leave the Convention with a 28 point lead, he's doomed and other lies. Blitzer thinks he's Mike Wallace or Dan Rather in 1968 and probably hopes to be pushed around the floor and beaten up.

BTW, on NPR yesterday Cronkite gave a "You Are There" piece about the Chicago Convention...it was terrific and brought back all those memories from that frightening year - the most threatening time until these present times. There we had Daley's fascist thugs beating protestors to death and now...

The most fascinating part of the piece was a CBS producer's narration of events unfolding beneath him at the Chicago Hilton, (I believe). Remarkable journalism from an off-camera person. Now, they'd cut to commercial to hype Laci Peterson Coverage.

The young people here should go over to the NPR site and browse the clips:

1. They've done their best to downplay the convention...
They've (CNN, etc.) been making it seems like more of an annoyance and a hazard than an important event, and then asking poll questions like "Is the convention more of an annoyance than an importand event"? They don't even need outside sources. They MAKE the news.

3. Not only that...
but they ask questions like: "since John Kerry is only known by about 33% (!) of Americans, what does hie have to do at this convention to be taken seriously by the electorate?"

I surely hope that Candy Crowley shows up to hyperventilate about how this is just not as well-orchestrated as the Repubs were in my home town of Philly (what ignominy that * had to be nominated HERE! it was shameful - we'll never live this down: Phillies in '64, Eagles perennially, Army-Navy railing collapses, stagecraft which almost killed Justice O'Connor, etc...) She'll be able to find good eatin' in Boston however...lots of deeelicious fried fish...

Did anyone else see Mr Intellectual Bill Scneider extolling the Clinton Convention of 92? I thought he was going to orgasm right on TV - said Clinton was trunning THIRD behind Perot and Bush and he left the Convention with a lead he never relinquished - the most successful convention of all time. I do recall him at the time, sneering at Clinton and quoting incessantly the mantra of a "failed governor of a small state". What a bunch of morans...

4. Media makes it sounds as if Boston only has 10 people....
and they're leaving town because of the invasion of the killer tomatoes. They are preaching to the ignorant and uneducated people of the rural red states. People who have never traveled outside of their one way street. In fact, the same 5 people the media keeps interviewing in Boston, are the only 5 republicans living in Boston. How convenient, the media and republicans are able to find these 5 bush lovers, yet they can't find Saddam, al Sahawai(?)nor find bush responsible for the 911 killing of Americans. Boston is democrat, John F. Kennedy town. The republicans are doing their damnest to sabotage democracy.

5. ...and there's something new about this?
The fact that American Democracy was instigated in Boston and Philadelphia ia utterly meaningless to these cretins. They ar emore likely to identify with Philadelphia, Mississippi than Pennsylvania. what a bunch...

7. THE TUMOR... I know. The first time I saw it, I said "What is that growth"
and then when I realized what it was I was laughing so hard! With these twits being so vain, I wonder if they will have them on the entire time?

8. Wolf should be banned from the DNC
Why are we letting our enemies into the convention?

Would the Republicans let Michael Moore report from the floor?

Fuck no.
