Bush-Cheney '04 announce NW 'Truth Squad'
This would be a first... :eyes:

July 23 - Today, the Bush-Cheney ’04 Campaign announced their Northwest Truth Squad which will respond to Democratic attempts to makeover John Kerry’s out-of-the-mainstream record during the Democrats’ convention in Boston next week.

“The people of Northwest can anticipate an extreme makeover as John Kerry attempts to transform his out-of-the-mainstream voting record into something which real Americans can relate to. Sen. Kerry will either embrace his title as the most liberal member of the US Senate, or attempt to makeover his record of consistently supporting tax hikes and a weaker defense. Regardless, John Kerry has his work cut out for him if he wants to convince Americans that he isn’t wrong on the issues that matter to our country.”

The Bush-Cheney ’04 Northwest Truth Squad will host daily press conference calls throughout the convention. The campaign will also release Bush-Cheney ’04 Northwest Surrogate Alerts, advising the media of Bush-Cheney ’04 Northwest Truth Squad members availability for interviews each day.

On July 21, 2004, Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie and Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Manager Ken Mehlman announced Republican communications activities during the Democrat National Convention, including press conferences and interviews. They also unveiled a new website, DemsExtremeMakeover.com.

1. But then the Democrats should do the same. Let's see whose dirty
laundry is dirtier. GOD I AM TIRED OF THIS SCUM!!!!!!
The problem is the media will show up for the repug "Press conferences" and not for the Dem press conferences...if the dems have the guts to do it.

6. The last time...
...I heard the phrase "Truth-Squad" was on a Fox News talking heads show. They said that they had created a "truth-squad" to get to the bottom of some of the most important issues of the presidential campagn.

The first guest was asked - and I quote - "Please tell us the three biggest reasons that Kerry's economic policy is dangerous."

Truth squad my aunt fannie.
