2. The Kerry Campaign considers Virginia to be very much in play..

I live in VA Beach and went to a meet-up on Thursday night. It was a great meeting. Over 150 people showed up at Uncle Louie's and it was packed to the gills. Two members of Kerry's advance team were there to speak to us and the message was that they definitely consider Virginia to be in play for us.

was at the meeting on Thursday and spoke to the crowd for about 10 minutes. I also saw him speak at a Kerry House party on June 26th. I'm definitely impressed. I hope he wins. I like your name for Schrock. I just call him putz, as it's more fitting.

David had been visiting in Virginia Beach when the 9-11 Attacks occurred. 48 hours after the attacks, he rented a car and drove to Manhattan. He spent several days at the site of the collapsed towers as part of the Bucket Brigades doing search and rescue. Two weeks after this photo was taken, David was recalled for two additional years of active duty.

I hope Kerry heads up to Richmond again before the election. Can't make it to Norfolk on Tuesday (unfortunately).

8. Here are some directions from the Ocean front...

Take I-264 to I-64. Continue on I-64 to exit 276 C (Little Creek Road). At the end of the exit, turn left and continue down about one quarter of a mile and it will be on the right hand side. Also, you might want to call Uncle Louie's for more detailed directions. I was not driving, so the directions might be a little non-specific, but they will get you close to it. I'm considering going to UL's myself - maybe I'll see you there.
