Is the Media planning on screwing over the Dem's? |
|
I get the feeling that the so-called "Media" is going to do more reporting on the "Free Speech Zone" and the Protesters than the actual Convention itself. It sounds like it's going to turn into a really fucked up event.
Picture this image: Inside everyone is cheering and waving flags. They are chanting about Freedom and looking all Patriotic. Then the Media cuts to the so-called "Free Speech Zone", where the Protesters are basically caged. Mentally picture this in your mind. Then cut to one of those so called "Truth Squads" and picture them saying: "Isn't it ironic that they are in there talking about Freedom, when you have to be in their so-called 'Free Speech Zone' to exercise that right?"
I don't agree with the Free Speech Zone. I think we are gonna be burned badly after the Convention because the Media is basically going to screw us. Why else are they focusing so heavily on the "Free Speech Zone"?
I am willing to bet anything that the Republicans have something similar, and on top of that the Media will barely cover it. We all know the Media is heavily slanted toward Bush. What are your thoughts?

1. I'm planning on getting most of my convention news from the Net |
|
Although I have to listen to the major speeches, especially Kerry and Edwards.
But for the most part, I wont watch TV.
It will just drive me nuts. :grr:
