Bobblehead election

A local Single A minor league baseball team in New Haven, CT is having a bobblehead election at the August 2 baseball game.

They have bobblehead dolls of Shrub and Kerry.

I believe there are going to be an unlimited amount of bobbles of each candidate.

The election works like:

When a fan enters the game, they use their ticket stub as ID and they get to choose a bobblehead of the candidate they want to win the election.

Whichever candidate "sells" the most bobbleheads is declared the winner.

I guess their also going to have reps. from each party their to educate the fans about the upcoming election.

Pretty cool, huh?

I want a Kerry bobblehead.

My nephew is in his first season pitching for a minor league team in NY state. (Yup, we're very, very proud here...) Anyway, I follow his games on their website and they have the same promo coming up. So check minor league teams in your area and to get a Kerry bobblehead of your very own...


Maybe they can come up with some *creative* way to dispose of the unused Shrubbies. :evilgrin:
