Bush could put it all to rest - just make his discharge public...... |
|
That could quell all the talks and suspicions about his service and his record. Is he ashamed of it? He gave USA Today all his records right up to the time he was assigned to the Denver CO Reserve unit to finish up his 5 months and odd days, at which time he would have gotten his final discharge, a DD214. However, the last form he gave the paper was form 22 transfer form?? C'mon George, put this all to rest if you don't have anything to hide...

2. He may not have been given one. |

A DD214 is a "certificate or release or discharge from active duty." I don't know that any of his TANG time was considered active duty. He should have received a discharge certificate, though, but that wouldn't show anything more than he received an honorable discharge.
