My house rep sent me a postal letter about a tax rebate check - response?
Mark Kennedy wasted all the time and postage needed just to send me an ego-ridden letter about how I would be getting bigger paychecks due to tax reforms, amongst some merriage penalty reductions and a mention about small business tax cuts and every other sundry items under this so-called "relief".

Well, my checks have gone up - like by about $1.00. Gee, I'd rather the state keep the money to support its budget deficit. :grr: Ditto for federal tax cuts, the fuckin' money needs to pay off the debt Bush is killing us all with. The $0.50 I'm getting back from that sure as hell won't help me any. (DUH!)

And as I am starting a small business on the side, I'll soon see how much of real benefit this is.

In my heart, I know this helps the rich far more than it helps anyone in the bottom 97%.

Why did this douche-bag waste hundreds if not thousands to send such a letter to people?

Why do Republicans speak of rosy sounding tax cuts for all of us when it's obvious they only benefit the people who DON'T NEED IT and whose effects trickle down in the wrong way, only to create more problems (e.g. paying back the natl debt and so on)?

1. Send him this-
Do us all a favor. Keep your ego-stroking mailings to yourself and spend the money buying the soldiers in Iraq some WATER! And just to show how generous I am, you can add my whole $1 increase to the water fund!
