To say that Judy is a "News Anchor" is to imply that she actually reports news.

newsroom and those that gave both sides and stood up to the fear are either gone and are fewer and fewer.

52. I give him some points for telling some of the truth but
he's still a coward in my book. U.S. soldiers are dying. Protesters risk jail and beatings. All of these people suffered because these wimps succumbed to "pressure." Grow a pair Dan! People are dead because none of you would take a stand!

67. Well, they did let her cover blizzards in New England
Truly a prestige assignment.

It was really unexpected to hear commentary like that coming from Banfield - post-9/11 she was as shameless as the rest of them.

Nowadays, I slightly regret mocking her in "The Empire Never Ended."

Slightly.

sorry you missed it because it was Liberal/Progressive at its finest without all the interruptions of dithering dittobots. Except for the reichwing callers who as I said..Medino shot right down.

I was going to give you a link to c-span but that don't have the Medino segment or Sunday's show up yet. But if you get a chance ..you would like it.

Medino said when a caller asked about John Kerry's Liberalism that Liberal is a beautiful word and talked about education, and healthcare.

What he said is TRUE! "One of these 2 groups of people will be running our country and you 3 networks don't think this is important enough to cover?" A pew poll says that 75% of Americans are interested in this election NOW. Before at this time it was 42 or 45% interested at this time in an election. People know how IMPORTANT THIS election is. Thank You Jim Lehrer!

38. Question: what is heavier: corporate concentration of media or
political campaigns (e-mail criticism campaigns).
More media in more hands would preferred (Jennings). Corporations very bottomline conscious. No sh*t, Sherlock!!!
Rather: pressures create an undertow...and some people say fear...we are paid to resist pressure. When they succumb to pressure people know because audiences are smarter than media give them credit for them.

I'm remembering when they rode Clinton's back daily, hourly. And now they're all acting like they're breathing rarified air and have every good intention.

I wish the venue was such that Franken or Moore could have been on this panel just to mix it up and highlight the hypocrisy. As far as I'm concerned, the high point was Alterman asking his question. And we saw how fast his point was swept off the table. Pah!
