NOW President, Kim Gandy, drew attention to the organization's "10 for Change" campaign, a registration drive targeting single women voters.

Another highlight of the conference was a speech given by Carol Moseley Braun, who packed the room with a standing ovation of people cheering, banging on tables and waving signs that read "Carol Moseley Braun for president 2004."

"It is nice to interact with so many different women who are feminists" Jackson said. "Sometimes in Las Vegas, feminism is pushed to the side or very fragmented. This is feminsim in action and will help that circle grow."

they also protested in front of a Wal-Mart with blue umbrellas that said:"Wal-Mart is anti-women, don't shop at Wal-Mart."

thank you NOW
