Theresa K., vs. Laura B., steel cage match, no holds barred, who'd win?
even though laura murdered a man in her youth, i think theresa could kick laura's white bread ass in 10 seconds flat.

laura can only spout the party line, taking her talking points from rove himself. laura could never bring herself to tell an unfriendly reporter to shove it. not enough spine. only the liberated theresa can use that type of verbage without fear.

laura is a robot designed by daddybush for his spoiled retarded son.
theresa is a real woman, with a real point of view, not a blow up doll. i'm sick of stepford wives and trophy wives and phony smiles.
laura is a total empty blouse, a prop, for a man who has no brain.

theresa is a first lady we could all be proud of. bright, articulate, a master of 5 languages, a student of humanity, opinionated and honest, and cute to boot.

laura on the otherhand, looks like jack nicholson in batman, and she comes off as phony baloney. i'm just sick of looking at bush and his zombie wife strolling around waving like automatons. sick of her mao pajama suits, sick of her cookies, sick of her creepy face.

bring on theresa hienz kerry, i need a change of first ladies bad.

She could wup LB without breaking a fingernail-and do it in five languages, to boot!

One chair-shot to Laura's head and the match would be over. :)

4. Must everything be measured by a testosterone yardstick?
Men!

Teresa Heinz is as far apart from Laura Bush as Jackie Kennedy is from Linda Tripp. There is just no comparison. Teresa has spent many years making this world a better place to be while Laura has spent many more years enabling that dry drunk she lives with.

6. Teresa was an anti-apartheid activist in her youth in Mozambique
They did her biography on CNN yesterday.

"My wife, anti-apartheid activist, speaks five languages, funds environmental causes, I think I'll keep her"

(looks like jack nicholson in batman--that's cruel--I love it)

8. What a waste Laura has been
To be the First Lady of the USA is an incredible opportunity and a huge responsibility. The First Lady can bring her enormous influence to bring attention to all kinds of issues and programs. Most first ladies in modern times, have been very active politically and socially. Except for, of course, Laura Bu$h. Her four years has First Lady reminds me of Seinfeld, it was all about nothing.

10. Laura is a closet liberal
Or at the very least a pretty staunch environmentalist and a something resembling a real educator. She was a school librarian before she married into the casa nostra. I don't agree with her politics entirely, but I think she, unlike her husband or his friends, is actually a humanoid. In other words... She doesn't deserve this sort of treatment.

14. Guilt by association
You are merely making her guilty by association without looking beyond the surface. If you listen to her, though she is mousy, you would hear many "liberal" leanings in her and the way she lives. The fact that she is married to a tyrannical backward man and a family worse than the mob for killing innocents does earn her a bunch of bad will here too, but I don't know if she gets involved or wants to in those awful things.

Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 02:45 PM by thebigidea
She defends the war, defends her husband's bullshit policies, and helps raise money to further those deranged policies.

If that's leaning liberal, sheesh...

15. far be it from me to dwell on the negative, but........
.....the story goes that when she was in highschool or thereabouts, she had a petulant break up with her boyfriend, whom she saw across the street at a four way stop sign or light. the really awful tale goes that she jammed her right foot down and ran the light possibly and hit him broadside, killing him.

of course, i'm not a muckraking journalist, just a rumor monger. i also 'heard' that she didn't even get arrested or even go to court, due to her folks being related to the local big wigs or some nasty rumor that i'd rather not be involved in spreading if you don't mind.
