5. That was morning weenie Bill Hemmer.
I just caught the end of it. What else was said? Did they mention that F911 cleared $100 million this weekend?

15. Wow.
That IS surprising. One would think that while you're interviewing the MAKER of the movie, you would mention that important fact. Nah! Why would Hemmer give credit to Michael Moore? :grr:

4. The DNC did not invite Michael Moore to the convention....
guess who had the GUTS to invite him?

The Congressional Black Caucus. That's who! The backbone of the party.

8. amazing
After all this time and everything these people(repubs) did and are doing to this country I find it amazing the dems don't have more guts.
Republicans are ruthless, having a positive message is good, but don't shut out the very people that can help us and that have helped us.

11. I don't fault the party for distancing themselves from Mike.
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 08:33 AM by ClassWarrior
Any more than I fault the CBC for inviting him. He's a surrogate, just like Pat Buchanan was for the other side. Remember was a disaster it was, though, when the GHP put Buchanan on the dias in 1992?

18. Unlike Buchanan Moore is not a speaker. . .
. . .besides if the DNC did not want him there they would not have accomodated the CBC's request to grant him creditentials.

19. Agreed.
So they learned from experiences like Buchanan's. And yes, they're embracing Mike while giving themselves an out. That's a smart move.

9. Thanks for the head's up!
Moore was solid, and got in some good shots about the mainstream media (ie, the movie's a success because people are hungry to see what the whores withhold from them).

Hard as always to watch Bill Hemmer. What a lightweight.

10. Bill Hemmer (sp?) read the 'cliffnotes' of the 9/11 report
That was a classic and I don't think Bill got it!

12. THAT was a beautiful bitch slap
Hummer asked MM if he had read the 911 report.

MM - Yes, have you?

Hummer - Uhh, no.

Another great example of Moore doing CNN's job for them.

14. Sweet...
Just as Billy-Boy Hemmer was going to try to hit Moore over the head with the 9/11 report, saying that his claim about the Saudi's being spirited out by the Bu*h admin after 9/11 was not supported by the commision, Michael asked Bill if he had read the report. Bill had to say no. Hah, then Michael suggested he had perhaps read the Cliff Notes.

Way to go Moore... don't take any crap from them, especially little weasel Billy!

23. So no one brought up the discrepency between
F9/11 and the 9/11 report? philip zelikow was on cspan and brian lamb sure brought it up and said..so that movie F9/11 was a lie? And ol' zerkoff said he hadn't seen the movie but there were NO planes leaving the Country during the ban.
