I don't watch CNN much in the morning.

Hillary fired off a killer response - "You go girl!"

13. Probably "hit-and-run" Jack Cafferty
They keep a crabby Republican on hand to represent who they think their viewers are. Cafferty, who is always demanding apologies and talking up responsibility, ran over a bicyclist last year and dragged the bike 2 blocks through two red lights in front of 5 screaming witnesses. He plead to a lesser charge.

http://www.comintel.com/pipermail/tarwheels-chat/2003-August/000323.html

About five people tried to stop Cafferty by running after the car,
waving their arms and yelling, "Hey Stop," according to the complaint, but the newsman allegedly continued through at least two red lights, while dragging the bicycle underneath the vehicle.

17. Yeah, it was Jack
That's the name they called him by.

Like I said, I don't often watch CNN in the morning. I recognize Heidi, but that's because she's kinda hot.

4. Hmmm. She did say "And at times, unAmerican," though.

Sure, a stupid big deal is being made about it, but Teresa was mistaken when she told the reporter he was putting words in her mouth.

9. If the Republicans want to get into a pissing match

about misstatements, self-contradictions, and outright lies, then Bring It On.

Shrub has a long record of them and he isnt First Spouse.

Teresa was on Chris Mathews show last night and was about a candid as anybody I've ever seen. Where did this "impasse" crap come from?

7. Out of Context
People are thinking that she has just contradicted what she had just said...the media is playing it up to that point.....thats not true.....

Its something this reporter printed "BEFORE" about her.........much like bushy getting on Al Hunt when his Daddy was printed.and bushy told Hunt to fuck off or something to that effect.I'll have to look that up ............

According to multiple sources who attended the event, Heinz Kerry upon finishing the speech pushed her way through the Secret Service to get to Pittsburgh Tribune Review reporter, Colin McNickle. Upon getting to Mcnickle, Heinz Kerry asks, 'Are you from the Tribune Review' Mcnickle says, 'Yes, I am.'

At this point and in an irritated fashion Heinz Kerry says, 'Of course, understandable. You said something I didn't say. Now Shove it!'

15. Not exatly
She gave the speech, using the word "unAmerican", then came down and was taking questions. The reporter asked what she meant by "unAmerican", and she said "I didn't say that" several times, and "You're putting words in my mouth". She started moving away, then charged back to him and asked him the Tribune question. Realizing that this paper had wronged her previously, she said 'Of course, understandable. You said something I didn't say. Now Shove it!'

11. The "Fox" wannabe got e-mails from people who were upset at his
slant on the reporting of this. And he made fun of it. and congratulated the other CNN "reporter" for his interview with Michael Moore... I don't think they listen to themselves. The guy was useless, except for the "dissing" expression on his face.

14. We've got to take a Cheney-like attitude about this.
Hillary gave us the cue, really, when she said "You go, girl!"

Teresa shouldn't back down or apologize. Cheney never did; in fact, he went on TV and gloated.

19. He misquoted her,
by asking her what she meant by unamerican ACYIVITIES, which is when she said I didn't say that.
Then she denied saying activities and un-american.

20. From Kevin Drums blog...
SHOVE IT....Drudge is hyping a story from Channel 4 in Pittsburgh that says Teresa Heinz Kerry had a brief confrontation with a reporter Sunday evening that ended when she told him to "shove it" and walked off.

The "reporter" in question was Colin McNickle, the editorial page editor of the Scaife-owned Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. If you want to know why Mrs. Kerry might have a beef with Mr. McNickle, you can read part of the answer here: the Tribune-Review editorial page has been on a disgusting and dishonest jihad against the Heinz Endowments for nearly a year. He's lucky that a fleeting tonguelashing is all he got.

22. See?
This is what they were hoping for from Obama. They will harp on this "shove it" remark until the cows come home! It's BULLSHIT.

Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it! Teresa told a reporter to shove it!

They have become completely transparent in their agenda.

23. Nothing wrong with telling a Scaife whore to shove it.
Nothing at all.

this is a non-issue that will get more attention than the actual concerns of Americans. Sad...but typical.
