Killing with Kindness???
Doesn't work in Football, Termites, or Cancer.

It's a sad reality that Americans like the hammer over the poem, the shocking over the subtle, the beef cakes over the brains.

Soccer is an example of the USA's resistance to skilled, ultra-technical, low scoring fights between teams; and, although they play rough, to make intentional physical contact is a penalty. Americans are still struggling to accept soccer as a spectator sport.

American football is the American preference. Beefy, brawny, muscle men - with the exception of a few highly skilled throwers, runners, and catchers - violently crash into each other, throw each other down, and score a whopping 6 pts for crossing a line almost fifty yards wide!

How to relate to a Majority of Americans? - Whop them over the head with tactical, offensive sound bites -OVER and OVER and OVER again.

Brainy niceness might get you on CNN (yea, during the convention) and win you a debate in high school (if you know the judge likes niceness).

But the campaign goes on beyond the convention and this is not a high school debate

This is a prosecution. There are crooks in the White House. The jury is the American people - Lay the troubling, criminal, and ugly story on the line.

Or - play woulda, coulda, shoulda on November 3.

1. I don't fully agree with your analogy
Simply because I think you fully underestimate the skill and talent that goes into playing football. You show a complete and total lack of knowledge as to what goes on in the game, and having played both sports on high levels of competition, every football position requires an enormous amount of technical skill.

5. If that's all you did...
You couldn't have been all that good. There is a ton of footwork and precision that goes into being an offensive lineman, as well as mentally having to know what every player does on every offensive play and working with your linemates to make sure you have the best blocking scheme possible and to ensure everyone's on the same page.
