Who here still gets sick....
when you either hear someone say PRESIDENT Bush or see Bush's FACE?

I still get nautious when I hear the word President before Bush's name. It makes me sick because Bush has no right to be in the WH and be commander-in-chief. He stole the election from Gore and the country.

Anyone else still get sick to their stomach like I do?

2. I have to mute the sound
if he's speaking. Of course, I try not to see him at all. I want to vomit when I hear, "I'm George Bush and I approved this message."

Bleck!

3. Me!
Can't stand the sight of him, can's stand listening to him speak, and feel a strong urge to correct people when they refer to him as "President" or talk about his "reelection" campaign.

6. I never...
refer to Bush as President when I am talking to people about him...I never have and never will...he does not deserve it and has not earned it.

Whenever I see Gore I ask myself how he can deal with the fact that he should be the president and he is not in the WH. He must be a strong person emotionally.

4. my husband and I both reach for the remote
to change the channel. I thought he'd be immune to it now, since he HAS to listen to FOX news all day at work (only channel the DoD allows to be shown on TV)

27. Is that the Department of Defense?

That is terrible! Can't the ACLU get involved?
Why should all employees have to listen to the same news channel every day while they work?

Where is our country! Please Lord give it back to us in November!!

31. yep
My husband is in the army and any TV at places they work is required to play FOX news. Disgusting, isn't it? No CNN, no MSNBC, just FOX. You'd think they'd make them play Armed Forces Network, but no... only FOX.

I try to never see him on TV.
Last week I was in a Texas airport (changing planes) and they were showing the chimp nonstop.
That was terrible!

9. Yes, I mute or change the channel
In fact, when I went to see F9/11, I cringed because that film contained more Bush than I have ever seen the whole four years he has been in office!

12. My mother-in-law....
calls every Sunday to talk to my wife. She's 75 year-old "borned again" Christian. She informs my wife she can't stand the sight of Bush and is voting for Kerry! She can't stand to see his face on TV and changes the channel when he appears. She then asked my wife on help with various voting selections. I couldn't believe it. She gave no reason for her hatred of him and I'm afraid to even ask. She will be voting in a swing state so thats good. This really made my day.

13. It's only getting worse for me
I can't stand the swagger, the smirk, or the voice.

On a related note, I also have an incredible urge to reach through the tv and punch Ed Gillespie in the f'n head whenever he's on, but that's probably just me.

15. I'm sorry if it upsets you
Personally I make a point of typing President Bush rather than just Bush, out of respect for the office (I don't always succeed, particularly after President Bush does or says something boneheaded). I have no real respect for the man, but I still have respect for the office.

17. the problem with that....
is that many do not feel he holds the office of the president. If it was just a matter of not liking him I would still call him president like I did for Reagan and Bush I. But to many here Bush is not and/or should not be president and therefore has not earned the right to be called president.

24. I totally disagree,
Having respect for the office is fine, I can totally understand that, but the problem is * had no respect for the office himself to begin with, if he had he would have won the office honestly, instead of having daddy's buddies anoint him and his brother disenfranchise voters. He has not earned my respect in any way. He has defiled the office of President.

22. I'm so happy to see there are others
who have the same response as I. I think it has something to do with the evilness that is in him and surrounds him. I began to feel that way the first time I saw him when he was being interviewed on MTP back in '99.

When I see Kerry and Edwards together, I get a very peaceful feeling.

The podium with the Presidential Seal is a prop, I know. But I still refuse to acknowledge the image I'm seeing.

I have to change the channel when he comes on -- even for his ads. As soon as I hear "I'm George W. Bush and I approved this message," I reply "I'm and I disapprove of you" and change the channel.
