AT that time I was soo upset with the lies and media coverage of issues discussed here at DU.

But I never thought that AWOL would stumble soo badly and present a golden opportunity to the dems.

Part of me thinks this is all planned because shrub has zero credibility and the puppet master agenda is dead without a new "leader".

It's not over...but I am surprised at the polls and how much ground has been made up.

1. 2 years ago I was extrememly upset at the dems
because of all the infighting and copromising with the wing nut machine. It seemed like we could never be in a position to have another dem president if we were just rolling over for the GOP. I have been surprised by the energy of the dems, I have never seen them like this. It has been an amazing turn-around.

3. 18 months ago, I was concerned we might become extinct
victims of legal social genocide. The way laws get changed to subvert and pervert America, I really worried most of us would be in work camps.

I still do not rule it our. So long as they have the machines that count the votes, I will be worried. They can't beat us on issues and they don't even try. But the guys who count the votes are the ones who win. We have to make sure votes are counted by those who believe in the American way and not the way that the ends justify the means.

4. I have always had every confidence that ShrubCo's hubris. . .
would be their downfall. I expect ever more spectacular flameouts from this rotten corp in the weeks leading to John Kerry's election.

5. No I did not.
It seemed the Dems couldn't catch a break. All the media was just worshipping Bush and Bush was like Teflon. Still does but we do see some good reporting now and then. Nothing stuck to Shrub. They could spin anything and people believed it all. Made me sick. Now I think finally many people can see through the BS, people who hate Bush are no longer afraid to speak up. I think a lot or people were afaid for a long time of admitting they hated him because I guess they thought they were a real minority. The Bush people are very loud.

6. NO!
The theme used to be who the Democrats would run in '08 because '04 was so obviously lost, and there was always talk of what Bush would do in "his next four years". Republikans were SO sure of this election.

... paris

8. i did
i truly did. i just so know bush, i have "faith" bush would be the emperor without clothes. and that is easy to defeat

i have been surprised how it is happening though. the avenues. like what i am seeing with media. started with clinton, but clinton is truly out. when they attacked gore so i said, still a hold on to clinton anger. but all democrat the last three years and the clear free ride for bushco..........i mean lordy. a wow. this surprises me in such clearity

wasnt going to, but i am watching the news. i am so fuckin in amazement at the coverage since waking. only been a little over an hour. and already seeing what they are doing. it is horrible

crowleys story on kerry, and then msnbc story on nixon kerry and then ah teresa, the gal on tweety, big thumbs up to her, after hearing her shove it comment. all late last nite,

and then this morning, they still cannot find a single good in kerry. i can find the good in someone i meet on the street, yet we go all thru kerry's life and there is not one positive thing to say about the man.

since kerry started in primary, i can honestly say i have not heard something positive about this man. and to this moment, i can still make that statement, months into the thing.
