Please Al and Kathrine no more Oliphant

I love you guys but not Oliphant. Was he trying to inform people about positive qualities of our candidates? He is awful, you guys are great!

I liked that segment a lot.

Hearing about Kerry's history and how he wins elections
was very positive.

But Al couldnt get him to end each subject with a punch line which was overall positive; ie (paraphrase or what I heard:)) Al... About edwards speech, at least it will be inspiring blah blah... olie counters with the eqivlent of "yah right" with all that implies negative (imo).

Oli: Yah right...

It seemed to me that here was a guy who has covered Kerry
for over 30 years and his impression of Kerry's ability to
be president was clearly positive.

6. You know ive been thinking about this:)

I just had to turn regular tv off because it was making me sick so early in the day! The RW spin and smear was outfront and disgusting about the convention. I normally enjoy Oliphant's type of nuanced, reasoned, balanced type of information, but today day damnit! I want some Rah Rah almost as blatant as the human demons-- known as republicans. The difference being our Rah Rah is deserved and has Facts behind it! Thats what I want to hear this week:)

...that god-awful location. The background noise is almost deafening, and it just sounds lame...not original at all.
