Bill Schneider, CNN, bashing the Dems.
And poo-pooing the party's newly found unity. My God! This is an unbeleiveable assault going on here. CNN is going full force to slam every Dem and every aspect of the convention.
We want the Fairness Doctrine back!

2. You are 100% right about the Fairness Doctrine
and the need to enforce it. The powers that be will try to ridicule their way into office, again.

3. Why do you watch the news?
I'm so much happier now that I've broken things off with Judy, Wolf and Candy.

10. I guess that I'm a glutton for outrage.
I get my news from the internet (mostly DU LBN), but put CNN on to compare the coverage.
I'm turning it off right now.

12. Me too, no more cable news for me and talk radio...it's all so
riddled with lies that it's frustrating. Why fill my beautiful mind with such lies.

Is this convention just their cue to get the right wing talking heads assembled in one place?

Friend of the "Democrat Party"!

Oh boy!

I just love how all the Republicans say we shouldn't attack Bush - and what I love even more is the Dems agreeing! YAY!

Why?? Watch?
We knew they would do this to our candidate,,,,,this just proves the media has to cow toed to bush.......just write these people and/or turn the TV off.......this is nothing but pure "bias".. they want bush to "win"............and myself I am totally sick already.....It says much disrespect for the American media......they cannot report truth .........

I hope to hell bush is up against this standard .......but I know it wil never happen......the right wing bastards....will make sure he never faces the scrutiny Kerry does....even though hes proven himself a liar and totally right wing puppet during his entire administration.

22. Honestly, what did he say that was bad?
I watched his segement, and I didn't see any bias. The only thing he said that might be construed as negative was that it is unusual to have this amount of unity in the party. That's true. Our party is notorious for being fractious.

All Schneider did was bring up clips of more fractious conventions to contrast then and now.

23. CNN down the street here
2 blocks from my office. Would love to put a megaphone up against the glass during that morning show and have a few words for them. Fox News is 2 more blocks south. It is like the GOP convention is already here.

CNN was surrounded by about 40 cop cars and cops during lunch. Possibly extra security for Dole / Larry King (?). Not sure, did they interview anyone special around 1PM?

Also want to get a CNN t-shirt then stand by their studio and pass out Bush/Cheney stickers. And tell people, "Oh yes we support Bush for re-election, of course, Couldn't you tell?!" Probably get my ass kicked by people I actually agree with.
