The biggest entourage inside the FleetCenter so far has belonged not to any of the prime time speakers or politicians, but to a familiar frumpy figure in a Michigan State ball cap, scraggly beard and baggy jeans — filmmaker Michael Moore.
While members of Congress walked by virtually unnoticed, the creator of “Fahrenheit 9/11” spent a good half hour answering questions from a gathering of about two dozen media types, dispensing one liners such as: “A lot of people who see this movie are swing voters who are on the fence. They fall off the fence about halfway through the movie.”
