Mountain-biker Bush takes fall

Crawford, Texas - President Bush plunged down hills and plowed through the brush on his high-end, high-performance mountain bike today - and wound up flat on his back.

A bit shaken up, Bush dusted himself off, got back on his bike and kept rolling, a small cut on his knee and dirt on his back the only signs he had wrecked.

With an Associated Press reporter along for the ride, Bush tore around his 1,600-acre Texas ranch today. A one-time jogger, Bush has been riding the knobby-tired bikes only since February, but he rides with abandon. He went biking today as Democrats gathered in Boston for their convention to nominate Sen. John Kerry as their presidential candidate.

Bush keeps a cramp-inducing pace on the uphills, panting hard by the time he reaches each peak, backing off a little to recover, attacking the next hill just as hard

3. It helps clear his head
Shrub states that riding helps him clear his head. Clear his head of what? Maybe he means out with the old air and in with some new Texas air.

4. I think that he and Kerry should go do the
Alpe d'Huez time trial course, and the fastest time wins the presidency.

7. Was this "journalist" actually there?
or is he just parroting the official Bushco press release?

I think we all know the answer to that question.

9. Trying to compete with JKs "athlete image"
I don't know if JK actually has one, but I've now heard a couple of talking heads referring to "the perception of Kerry's athleticism."

When will * learn that HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RIDE A BIKE?

10. And they bitched about Gerald Ford????
At least Ford was older and had enough sense not to try to ride bikes, Segways etc...

WTF is wrong with this dumb ass that he can't even sit on a couch without passing out, or pitching head first off of whatever he's trying to ride? (Didn't the clod also fall while jogging?)

HOW CAN 50% OF THE PUBLIC RESPECT THIS POS? ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

13. What a great description!!!! I think that we should...
find a toy maker who would be willing to put out a line of * action figures (dolls, that is!). We could start with th following:
1) The original drunken cheerleader
2) The 'I know what you said, you Fucking Asshole' drunken son
3) The TANG pilot (complete with white nose residue)
4) The Inarticulate Dubya (complete with a pull string activated voice that makes him speak, but the speech cannot be understood)
5) The Sneering Dubya (ala Carla Faye Tucker)
6) The Angelic halo Dubya
7) The Air Warrior Dubya (also know as aircraft carrier Dubya)
8) The 'I can run just like Bill Clinton' Dubya
9) The Mountain Bike Dubya
10 (Here's hoping!) The 'Meltdown on National television' Dubya

Accesories would include the following:
1) Accessory Stepford wife (valium and prozac not included)
2) Two accessory children (complete with police records)
3) A 'tip n drink' bottle of Jack Daniels
4) A Bible cover (with Hustler pages on the inside)

PLease feel free to add your own thoughts! :hippie:
