1. Tweety Just Tipped His Hand
He's out there gunning for someone to go off the Democratic message of avoiding Bush bashing. He's going hard to get someone to stray...kinda like the coyote looking for that weak lamb that can't keep up with the pack. The more he does it, the more he's getting booed and bitch-slapped.

3. Excellent interview
Not because the questions were good, because they were SHIT. The interview only got good when Wes said "Let's get off your script for a second. You can play hardball can't you?" I almost cried I was so proud of him. I was proud to be an Okie too because Okla. went to Clark in the primaries.

6. That's exactly what these "reporters" need to be told..

...GET OFF THE SCRIPT.

They can't think of their own questions and take reponsibility to be a real professional.

9. Wes was terrific
and had a sense of humor about it all...you guys take things too seriously! My gawd...Orrin Hatch and Ted Kennedy are playing tennis every week and we slug it out with freepers.

I like Chris Matthews...joined the Peace Corps worked for Carter...he's just doing his job.

All I hear are rebugs telling me they won't watch him...that tells you something.

14. Clark ripped him a new one (crowd in the palm of his hands)
Americans want a leader who is competant (lower standard for W), with character, and courageous. Bush has shown none of it and the American people want that and know that John Kerry and John Edwards can do that.

I think this election is not what you are expecting Chris-John Kerry and John Edwards will win by a landslide.

The answer to the "this crowd is on the left" question is Bush is a radical "over the tipping point" alluded to this but he should have pointed out that W is outside of the mainstream~we represent 98% of the American people.

Hell YES! go Wes!

18. He didn't put up with Mathews crap
Mathews did look like he was smirking it off but that could have been because he saw that his interrupting wasn't getting Wes off message.

Very good. Hell I wished I had voted on that guy, but a vote for Kerry is a vote for Clark (Sec. Defense? Interior? VA?)

23. I would have had trouble keeping from strangling Matthews if I were Clark
after what Matthews said after Clark withdrew from the race. I remember very well what Matthews said that Clark never really wanting to be a candidate. On Lester Holt's show, Matthews said that Clark was just a Clinton stooge who wanted to take Dean down. He said there never really was a grass roots Clark movement. How wrong he is. I will always loathe Chris Matthews even though he was against the Iraq war, according to the newspaper column he wrote before we went in. What Matthews said about Clark is beyond Karl Rovian nastiness.

24. Clark apparently wowed them at an event at the Sheraton earlier...
"brought the house down."

He just kept smiling at Tweety, making him look like a jerk, which he is...When Clark told him to get off the script...........That's why I fell in love with him.....

Sigh....what could have been.....
