i say there isn't ONE TRUE REPORTER alive anymore. not on TV anyway.

maybe that is what they are trying to do. tear me down this week and make me hate EVERYTHING about politics!

yeah. THAT is the ticket.

well, CHENEY YOU you motherfuckers

1. But....
There is us. And we can do more than the media. We can talk to people one on one. We can go door to door. We can keep the faith.

My heart goes out to you...it was just as sickening watching it from Michigan today.

Today, I actually fell in like with Teresa Kerry. And that's a big step! :)

10. "I TURNED IT OFF" -- that IS the key, you know?
Turn it off. Right them a letter and tell them you turned it off. Write the sponsors a letter -- not an email, a real letter -- and tell them you TURNED IT OFF. Moreover, tell them you have no intention of EVER turning it back on again.

Seriously.

They have lost all credibility. To them, we're all sheep and they're all show and they know it. As long as we keep watching them and consuming their talking head reality, they'll keep serving it to us.

3. Ron Reagan
Though not a reporter, is showing some real promise. Anderson Cooper, Keith Olberman, and Jon Stewart come to mind as well. I like them all. Especially Stewart, of course.

11. Now that the chips are down and the presidency is on the line
Tweety is in full GOP whore mode. Don't expect anything resembling fairness from this clown.

7. And badly, I might add.
That was awe-inspiring. Clark wouldn't let Chris talk over him.

8. Its hard to debate liars when you respect the truth.
Liberals are conditioned to consider peoples arguments, to be polite, to give people the benefit of the doubt, etc. The conservatives are liars and dissemblers, they only speak in spin.

9. I used to be a real political junkie
I watched all the shows. Constantly checked in on CSPAN etc etc. I don't do it anymore - for my mental health. RWers control the Beltway press corps and I'm not gonna get all pissed off about what I can't control. I'm leaving Boston tomorrow am and heading to Maine until Friday. I will be blissfully ignorant of what happens.

12. the upside of the tweety/Clark exchange....
Gen. Clark made tweety look like the repuke shill asshole that he is. Clark was composed, on message and did not let that little dumb-ass bush licker detract from the Democratic message. Cheers to the General and cheers to you Matcom! ( to cheer you up!) :)
