Ed Gillespie: "very angry, bitter, harsh...they are united in their anger"
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/07/26/gop.daywrap.ap/index.html

"They are a very angry, bitter, harsh party," said Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie. "They are united in their anger, but they will try to tamp that down here at the convention."

Gillespie made the comments Monday as the GOP war room revved up for a week aimed at countering the images put out by the Democratic Party as it names John Kerry its presidential nominee.

"We believe that for the next four days, the Democrats are going through an extreme makeover of John Kerry's record," portraying a liberal Massachusetts senator as a moderate presidential candidate, said Gillespie.

"Senator Kerry's 20-year Senate voting record is a long shadow the Democrats will try to hide with lights, camera and rhetoric this week," Gillespie said. "For one night they may succeed, but Senator Kerry will never be able to shake his voting record between now and November."

Gillespe, seen earlier today...

...and in his previous career as beloved children's entertainer Pee Wee Herman. <sarcasm>

7. If we were not angry and bitter, we would be morons like you, Gillespie

Is there no crime, no stupidity, no inhumanity, no violation of human rights, no mismanagement of finance, no waste of lives, no violation of trust that would ever wake up Repukes to the fact that their vision is totalitarian, ignorant, and squandering of 200 years of democracy in construction. They have wasted this 200+ years of work in a mere 42 months. We have to start over. The sooner Repukes are removed from leadership the better.

Gillespie, you are an ignorant party hack with no principle. You simply are not smart enough to understand the rage that you and your idiotic leaders have generated. Wait until November, and you will feel the wrath of an abused population ready to see you relegated to the cesspool of history.

8. Same is true of their party
"They are a very angry, bitter, harsh party,"
So easily true of the Repuglican party

"Senator Kerry's 20-year Senate voting record is a long shadow the Democrats will try to hide with lights, camera and rhetoric this week,"
Ditto the RNC of Bush's shameful 4 years.

"For one night they may succeed, but Senator Kerry will never be able to shake his voting record between now and November."
Also true for GW.

As for this moron, he is truly one of the extra dumb, unattractive dumbasses among the repugs

I was watching him say that earlier on CNN, then the camera went back to..Andrea Mitchell? Whoever was interviewing him said "Right on." I wanted to barf.

I'm beginning to see the spin. All day long: Democrats aren't going to be negative Democrats aren't going to be Bush-bashing Democrats aren't going to be negative Democarats aren't going to be Bush-bashing...

Negative things about Bush were said.

Next day's spin: THE DEMOCRATS LIED!!

17. Why worry about Grand Moff Gillespie?
Gillespie? I laugh my butt off everytime I hear the man.

I do not fear the GOP in 2004, because I know fear us.

They fear a high voter turnout. They need a low one.
The fear what they heard yesterday. Because deep down they know that their act has been caught.

Ol' Ed's just doing what he's paid to do. He's a salesman, and I repeat and continue to repeat, the Republicans have to be the better salesmen. They have the inferior product to sell.

Ed and them elephants have to say that. They know that they are in a scrap and they know one simple fact about George W. Bush.

That boy is unfit to be President of the United States.

When ever he speaks he takes a deep breath and than goes into this insane rant, his head bobbing and eyes rolling. The man is truly scary. Can you think of a Dem. spokesman even remotely resembling this clown?
