Bob Woodward to Larry King: "You people are drinking the Kool-Aid"... |
|
King asked Woodward which cabinet post guest Dick Gephardt should have in the Kerry Administration. He had also asked Bob Dole the same question.
Woodward replied "You people are drinking the Kool-Aid. You're dividing up the cabinet posts for an administration that hasn't even been elected."
Hmmm...remember when Bush was discussing cabinet posts in 2000 while the Florida votes were still being counted? Talking about plans for his "administration?"

5. What Does That Phrase Mean? |
|
I've seen people using it lately, I have no idea at all what it means. I had thought that maybe it had something to do with Jones down in Giana, but I don't see how that mass suicide has anything to do with any subject that's being discussed when the phrase is used.
So tell me, what does it mean?

It likens the cult that drank poisen Kool-ade when they were told, to people following mindlessly -buying the program, so to speak.

as in Jim Jones' "devotees" giving poisoned koolaid to their CHILDREN, and then willingly drinking it themselves... because he told them to..:(
Bushbots drink the koolaid..
George could hack Laura to death with a machete...On the Today Show, and the koolaid drinkers would say it was HER fault..or God told him to do it :(

6. Funny how these R-wingers are picking up phrases that |
|
were pretty much coined at DU. Earlier Lou Dobbs referred to Theresa Heinz Kerry as not being a Stepford Wife, another term Du'ers made mainstream in regard to Republican politician's wives.
